Wantlist

The Wantlist tab shows records you're looking for. When signed in with Discogs, it loads your Discogs wantlist.

What you see

• Header — "Wantlist" with item count and estimated total cost

• Hint text — "Swipe to remove, Tap Found It! to add to collection"

Each wantlist item shows:

• Album art placeholder or thumbnail

• Artist and album name

• Pressing info — Format, label, year

• Heat badge — 🔥 Hot, 🌊 Warm, or ❄️ Cold (how much you want it)

• Star rating — 1–3 stars

• Price range — Expected cost range

• Hunt tag — Shows max price if an auto-hunt rule is set (e.g. "🎯 Hunting ≤$25")

Actions per item

• Found It! — Celebrate with confetti animation and move the record to your collection via the API

• Hunt (target icon) — Set auto-hunt rules for automated searching

• ✕ Remove — Remove from wantlist with slide animation

• Search Bandcamp — Opens Bandcamp search for that artist and album (same on Web, Desktop, and Expo)

Sort & filter

• Sort: Default, A–Z, Heat (hottest first), Stars (highest first)

• Filter: All, Hot only, Warm only, Cold only

Search & Add

Use the search bar to find records on Discogs and add them to your wantlist. Results show thumbnails, artist, title, and an "On list" badge if the item is already on your wantlist, or an "Owned" badge if it's in your collection. Pagination with "Load more" for large result sets.

Auto-Hunt Rules

Tap the target icon on any wantlist item to set hunt rules:

• Max price — The most you're willing to pay

• Minimum condition — Any, M, NM, VG+, VG, or G+

• Preferred stores — Discogs, RareVinyl, Amoeba, eBay (web only)

Auto-order toggle — Enable automatic purchasing when criteria are met (web only)

Hunt rules are shown as badges on wantlist items and in the Dashboard's hunt rules section.

Syncing with Discogs

When signed in, the app fetches your wantlist from Discogs. The "Found It!" action calls the Discogs API to move the record to your collection. Removes are local unless synced separately. To keep Discogs in sync, update your wantlist on Discogs and refresh.

Caching

Your wantlist is cached locally for 30 minutes. On return visits, items load instantly from cache while a background refresh fetches the latest.

Wantlist shows demo data. Sign in with Discogs to see your real wantlist.
